  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council approves the agenda of Regular Council Meeting No. 1598 as presented.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council approves the minutes of Regular Council meeting No. 1597, held Tuesday, April 9, 2024, as circulated. 

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council provides direction on whether the previous resolution to conduct a council remuneration review at the beginning of year three of each council term still remains, and if it should be included in the upcoming bylaw amendment.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council provides direction on next steps regarding a review of council remuneration.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council gives first and second reading to Official Community Plan Amendment (Nkwúkwma Sub Area Plan) Bylaw No. 956, 2024.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council schedules a public hearing for Tuesday May 14, 2024 at 5:00pm at the Village of Pemberton Council Chambers 7400 Prospect Street, with respect to Official Community Plan Amendment (Nkwúkwma Sub Area Plan) Bylaw No. 956, 2024;

     

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council provides notice pursuant to sections 464(3) and 467 of the Local Government Act with respect to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 958, 2024 (Nkwúkwma Neighbourhood);

  • Recommendation:

    THAT, prior to the adoption of Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 958, 2024 (Nkwúkwma Neighbourhood), the owner is required to enter into a land development agreement, generally in accordance with the term sheet attached to the April 30, 2024 staff report, to the satisfaction of the Village of Pemberton;

    AND THAT the mayor and chief administrative officer are authorized to sign the land development agreement on behalf of the Village provided it generally conforms with the term sheet attached to the April 30, 2024 staff report.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council gives first and second readings to Official Community Plan Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 965, 2024 (Parkside 7362 Pemberton Farm Road East).

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council gives first and second readings to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 966, 2024 (Parkside 7362 Pemberton Farm Road);

    AND THAT Council sets Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 5:00pm as the date and time of the public hearing for Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 965, 2024 (Parkside 7362 Pemberton Farm Road East) to be held in Village of Pemberton Council Chambers or by electronic means in accordance with Council Procedure Bylaw No. 788, 2015;

    AND THAT Council consider adoption only upon completion of a development agreement between the Applicant and the Village of Pemberton that secures community amenity contributions and other prior-to obligations. 

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council gives first, second, and third readings to Village of Pemberton Code of Conduct Bylaw No. 958, 2024.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council gives first, second, and third readings to Village of Pemberton Council Remuneration Amendment Bylaw No. 959, 2024.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT Council closes the meeting to the public pursuant to section 90 (1) of the Community Charter to permit discussion of items related to the following topics: (m) a matter that, under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, is such that the public may be excluded from the meeting.
